Swiss Freight Forwarding | Connecting Switzerland & the U.S. with Precision
Dear Customers and Partners,
As summer sets in across Europe and North America, we want to thank you for your continued trust in us. From our offi ces in Switzerland to our growing network in the U.S., we’re proud to be your partner in delivering reliable, secure, and on-time freight forwarding solutions. Here is a look at the current logistics landscape and what you should know.

Port Congestion Relief, But Plan Ahead
After several challenging years, congestion at major U.S. East Coast ports—including New York/New Jersey and Savannah—eased signifi cantly in mid-2025. However, with demand rising steadily and ongoing labor negotiations on the West Coast, advance planning remains essential, especially for ocean freight from Switzerland.

Air Cargo: Stabilizing Rates & Reliable Service
Following post-pandemic volatility, air freight rates have stabilized, and service reliability has improved. Our Zurich and Geneva hubs continue to provide fast, effi cient routing to key U.S. destinations—ideal for high-value or time-sensitive shipments.

Customs & Compliance Focus
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has increased its focus on data accuracy and import security protocols. We continue to work closely with importers to ensure smooth and compliant entries, especially under the new trade regulations impacting chemicals, food products, and high-tech goods.

SABC Welcomes New Corporate Members

Rimon Technologies – Making Industrial Know-how Accessible

We’re excited to introduce Rimon Technologies as a new member of the Swiss American Business Council. Founded in Switzerland and now expanding into the U.S. Midwest, Rimon helps industrial companies retain and transfer expert knowledge through their AI-powered assistant Digital Walter.
Our solution enables technicians to capture and access step-by-step guidance through short video clips and embedded documents — directly at the machine. The goal: make decades of experience available on demand, especially in times of skilled labor shortages and workforce transitions.
A recent collaboration with LNS, a global manufacturer of bar feeders and other machine tool accessories, highlights the impact. By deploying Digital Walter to support customer service operations, LNS was able to reduce average ticket size by 12% in the very first month — simply by ensuring technicians could resolve issues faster, with more clarity and fewer misunderstandings.
The result: shorter downtime, fewer escalations, and happier customers.
